November 2018 saw the opening of the Morningcidery, Auckland's first dedicated cider bar in the Morningside Precinct. 5 years on this has grown up and evolved into a full bar proudly named Side Hustle.

Think lane bar meets french wine cave. 

The name of the bar is a nod to our origins - you see, back in the day, creating unique, award-winning ciders was our passion... but not our day job.  

Now, thanks to your support, Morningcider has now become more of a permanent fixture in the NZ cider world, enabling us too to evolve our bar into a full dining experience, serving up all your fave ciders plus epic cocktails, craft beer, stunning wines and delectable foody bites. 🍸🍷🍾🍺

Signature Morningcider

We have three foundational brews on tap at all times:

Morningcider Cider – a crisp & dry classic cider weighing in at 4.9%, perfect for an afternoon in the sun or that knock off work feeling...

Strawberry Rosé - our delicate, fruity beauty who sweeps her fair share of awards

and the favourite big brother the ‘Apple IPA’, punching in with a 6% full-strength, hoppy drop.

On Tap
Tim, our Master Brewer, is also a guru in cider experimentation, producing the ever popular Pineapple & Jalapeno, Ginger Ninja, Feijoa Sour and more. With an impressive range of local cider and beer on tap, get a tasting flight and give them all a go!

Right Cider Life
Beyond our taps, we have a fully stocked fridge of cider and beer brought in from all around NZ. We love pairing our ciders with mixers to create a delish range of cocktails.

Plus we have a delish sharing menu to pair with our cider range - there’s something there with your name on it.
