November 2018 saw the opening of New Zealand’s first dedicated cider bar in Auckland’s newest hospitality hotspot, the Morningside Precinct, 16 McDonald St, Morningside. 

At the Morningcidery, we are proud to have NZ’s largest selection of cider on tap and a full range of bottled and canned cider from both here and around the globe.

We have two foundational brews on tap at all times:

The Morningcider Cider – a crisp & dry session-able cider 4.9% for that knock off work feeling...
and it’s big brother the ‘Apple IPA’, punching in with a 6% full-strength, hoppy drop.

On Tap
Tim, our Master Brewer, is also a guru in cider experimentation, producing the ever popular Pineapple & Jalapeno, Coffee Supreme, Ginger Ninja, Feijoa Sour and more. With 11 local ciders on tap, get a tasting flight and give them all a go!

Right Cider Life
Beyond our taps, we have a fully stocked fridge of ciders brought in from all around the world. We love pairing our ciders with mixers to create a delish range of cocktails. Plus we have a snacks menu to pair with our cider range - there’s something there with your name on it.
